Does this contain THC?
This product is derived from Hemp, not Marijuana. Naturally, hemp is very low in THC and high in CBD. While there may be trace elements of THC it would be not near the level to induce intoxication for your animal. Cats and especially dogs are very sensitive to THC so this is realized with the creation of the pet series from Coast Botanik.
Directions for dosage
Because each animal is different there are no basic guidelines for dosing. This truly does take some patience and trial and error. We always err on the side of caution and take the approach of slow and low, to begin with, and slowly working yourself up in dosage over days or weeks.
For an animal under 20LBS, we recommend 1 drop per 2lbs of weight. A 10lb (4.54 kg) animal would receive 5 drops. Ideally, if you can put it into their mouth without food this is best but if you need to put it on a little cracker or something else they would eat then that's good as well.
Depending on your animal and many variables you can slowly increase the dosage by a drop every 3 days if you find your animal needs more. For more advanced ailments such as cancer, you can start with a higher dosage such if time is an issue. We always recommend your first dosage to just do a few drops to ensure the animal takes well to it.

LAB RESULTS
I bought this for my 9 year old cat who has stomatitis (immuno response to plaque on his teeth, causes gum inflammation, and extreme pain).
I’ve been giving it to him for almost two weeks now and it’s changed him night and day. It works better than the prescription he gets from the vet, even!
His appetite has improved, he’s in less pain, he’s drooling a lot less, and he’s SO playful again, like when he was a kitten. He’s actually able to enjoy playing now cause his mouth doesn’t cause him so much pain!

I followed the directions and it gave all four of my cats diarrhea that was constant. As soon as I stopped giving this to them in their food the diarrhea stopped. Also, this product is misleading. There is more MCT (Coconut) Oil than CBD Oil in the bottle...I believe that's why my cats got diarrhea because I've given them pure CBD oil before and they were fine.

i have been using this product consistently for about a month now. My cat has always suffered with acute anxiety, causing her to hide, be aggressive, and urinate. about 2 weeks ago I noticed that she is now being much more social with us, calmer, and is happy to be out from her hiding places. I have tried additives to her diet, pheromone therapy, and everything under the sun to give her some comfort but this is the only thing that has worked. I am so happy that she is feeling better. I was at my wits end with her as to what we should do to help her as taking her to the vet and behavioral therapy is quite expensive. It is easy to give to her. the syringe is labeled in the mL so you can dispense into food or onto a treat, but our cat usually takes it right out of the syringe.
